Polish My Prompt ("we", "our", or "us") provides a Chrome extension and web application that helps users improve and optimize their AI prompts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our extension, website, and related services ("Services"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

2.2. Prompt Content

When you use the Polish My Prompt extension or website, you may submit:

• Prompt text that you want us to polish or optimize

We temporarily process your prompt content only for the purpose of generating improved prompts. We do not use prompt content for training, advertising, analytics, or sharing with third parties.

2.3. Usage Information

We may collect minimal diagnostic or usage information such as:

• Token or usage totals
• Error logs (anonymized)
• Extension version and browser type

This helps us maintain extension stability and track your usage quotas.

2.4. Payment Information

Payment processing is handled securely by our payment providers (such as Dodo Payments or Stripe). We never store your credit card number or sensitive payment information on our servers.

3. What We Do Not Collect

To comply with Chrome Web Store policies, Polish My Prompt:

• Does not collect your browsing history
• Does not read or scrape website content in the background
• Does not track your behavior across sites
• Does not sell or share personal data with advertisers
• Does not use prompt data for advertising, profiling, or analytics

The extension only runs when you intentionally activate Polish My Prompt (for example, by clicking the extension button or using an explicit integration).

4. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data strictly to:

• Provide and improve the prompt-polishing service
• Maintain your account and subscription
• Track your token or usage quotas
• Fix bugs, prevent abuse, and ensure security
• Communicate with you about support, updates, or billing

We do not use your information for marketing without your consent, and we do not use your data to train third-party models.

5. Where Your Data Is Stored

We use Supabase to securely store your account information, support messages, and usage data. Prompt content may be processed temporarily but is not permanently stored unless required for usage logging or abuse prevention. Our infrastructure is hosted in secure data centers that follow industry-standard security practices.

6. Chrome Web Store Compliance

This extension adheres to Chrome Web Store policies, including:

• Data is used only to provide and improve the stated functionality of the extension.
• Data is not sold or shared with third parties except essential service providers (such as Supabase or payment processors).
• Prompt content and personal information are not used for targeted advertising or unrelated purposes.
• No data is used for AI model training without consent.

7. Cookies

Our website may use minimal cookies for authentication sessions and essential site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Data Retention

We retain:

• Account information while your account is active
• Support messages for customer service and record-keeping
• Usage logs for a limited period to prevent fraud and abuse

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share data with:

• Supabase (backend, database, authentication)
• Payment processors (for subscriptions and purchases)

These providers are not allowed to use your data for their own marketing or unrelated purposes.

10. Security Practices

We use industry-standard security measures, including TLS encryption, secure authentication, hashed passwords, restricted API access, and least-privilege principles. While no system can be guaranteed 100% secure, we work continuously to improve our security posture.

11. Children's Privacy

Polish My Prompt is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
